When a person first go to college, it makes them feel very important, feel enthused, and excited. College instructors have already made assumptions that the college student should be prepared and ready for the task laid before them. A successful student will take good lecture notes, and will stay current on reading assignments, reviews, and thoroughly go over all their courses material. What helps make a successful college student, it's a person who know where they are going in life, and they know the commitment it takes to take them where they want to go.
A successful college student, should know what courses they want to take, the importance of attending classes regularly, the importance of completing all of their assignments, and handing them in on time. It is the student's responsibility to ask questions when something is not understood, they should no longer have a high school mentality, because instructors assume that they are responsible adults.
If a student fail at college, it is because they were not prepared and focused on what they had to do. If they do not attend classes regularly, it will be hard for them to keep up with assignments, homework, and it will be hard to get high grades on quizzes, and tests, therefore, they will fall behind which usually leads to failing the course altogether, If this type of behavior continues, the college student will end up repeating the same actions in other courses they are taking. being unprepared for college leads to students struggling, and eventually dropping out of college altogether. Students will only fail, when they fail to prepare.
A person can be a successful college student, by being committed to carry out the commitment of attending college. They can be successful through their own accomplishments of being mature, and being responsible. When the college student is a responsible person, they will possess a positive character trait that should be encouraged, and applauded, this character trait will lead them straight to a road of success.
